Fencing For Long Jetty Homes

Long Jetty is a narrow strip of flat ground between Tuggerah Lake and the ocean, sitting around two metres above sea level.

Most of it was subdivided around the original beach cottages, long before anyone was thinking about truck access. Blocks are small, side passages are tight, and plenty of homes still have the fence they were built with. The suburb has been renovating steadily for a decade, and the front fence is usually the last thing to get done.

We install aluminium slat, timber, aluminium tubular, Colorbond, and glass and aluminium pool fencing across Long Jetty. You can also see the fencing areas we service if you are comparing options for Long Jetty or the surrounding suburbs.

Why Choose Our Fencing In Long Jetty?

On a small Long Jetty block the hard part is rarely the fence itself, it is getting materials down the side and out the back without wrecking the garden. We work that out at the quote, not on install day.

We can help with fencing for:

  • Front fences and privacy screening on renovated cottages
  • Replacing old timber paling boundaries
  • Small blocks with narrow side access
  • Slat fencing with the gap set to suit how much privacy you want
  • Secure gates and gap-free bottom rails where there is a dog
  • Pool barriers built to the NSW requirements, in glass or aluminium
  • Driveway and pedestrian gates, including custom steel

Fully licensed and insured, NSW contractor licence 314691C. Australian made materials, including COLORBOND® steel from BlueScope.

Fencing And Gate Options We Install In Long Jetty

Our Long Jetty Fencing Process

Working Out Access Before We Quote

On a Long Jetty block the site visit tells us more than the measurements do. How the side passage runs, what the old fence is sitting in, where the gates need to go and whether the front boundary is doing a privacy job all change the plan.

The two questions worth settling early are how materials reach the rear boundary, and how open you want the front fence to be. Both are cheaper to decide before anything is ordered.

Whether it is a single front fence, a privacy screen or a full boundary replacement, you get a fixed price in writing and one point of contact from the first call through to handover.

Clear Fencing From Quote To Installation

  • We talk through which boundary, what height you want and what the fence has to do
  • We walk the line and check access, ground conditions and gate positions
  • We recommend materials, heights, slat spacing and colours, and give you the options side by side
  • We give you a fixed price in writing, with the gates included
  • We remove the old fence, set out, dig the footings, then install the panels and gates
  • We check the gate swing and latch, and take the old materials away

Long Jetty Fencing FAQs

Yes. Small original blocks with a tight side passage are normal in Long Jetty, so we check access at the quote stage and plan how materials reach the rear boundary before we price the job. If something needs to come out or go over the top, we tell you then rather than on the day.

aluminium slat fencing is the most requested, because you can set the gap between slats and get privacy without a solid wall. aluminium tubular fencing keeps a small front garden visible, and timber fencing still looks right on the older cottage streets. For side and rear boundaries Colorbond fencing is the usual upgrade because it does not rot, warp or need painting. Around a pool, glass pool fencing and aluminium pool fencing both meet the current NSW requirements. We will give you a straight recommendation once we see the house.

Height limits apply to front fences and they are set by Central Coast Council, so the front boundary is the one worth checking before you build. Rear and side boundary fences generally have more room. We will flag anything on your site that looks like it needs council confirmation.

Long Jetty sits low and close to the water, which is hard on timber fencing at ground level and on cheaper finishes. Powder-coated aluminium and Colorbond fencing are the two materials we install most here because neither rots nor needs repainting. Post footings matter as much as the panel on low ground.

Yes. If you have a dog, tell us at the quote. It changes the bottom rail detail, the ground clearance and the Colorbond gates hardware, and it is much cheaper to build in than to fix afterwards.

Cost comes down to material, height, length, the number of gates and how hard the block is to access. Small blocks with limited access can take longer than a straight run, which is why we quote on site for free.
