Glass Pool Fencing
Glass keeps the sightline to the pool open, which matters when you’re watching kids from the deck or the kitchen window. We install frameless and semi-frameless glass right across the Central Coast, and set the panels out so heights, gaps and the non-climbable zone are right the first time. On a sloping block, semi-frameless is usually the smarter call, because it steps with the ground instead of fighting it.

Aluminium Pool Fencing
Powder-coated aluminium is the workhorse pool fence on the Coast. It won’t rust in salt air, it never needs painting, and it covers a long run for less than glass. Flat top, loop top and tubular styles, with matching self-closing gates and hardware chosen to keep working through summer heat and ground movement, because the gate is where most pool barriers fail.

Why We're The Central Coast Pool Fencing Experts
A pool fence isn’t a boundary fence with a gate in it. It has to stand up to a certifier’s tape measure: at least 1.2 metres high from finished ground level, no gap over 100mm at the bottom, a 900mm non-climbable zone kept clear outside it, and a gate that swings away from the pool and self-closes and self-latches from any open position. Get one of those wrong and the whole barrier fails.
We build every pool fence to AS1926.1-2012 from the outset, and we pay attention to the parts that catch people out: ground that falls away, retaining walls and garden beds sitting inside the non-climbable zone, and gate hardware that has to keep working after a few hot summers.
To be clear about who does what: we build and install the barrier. The compliance certificate is issued by Central Coast Council or an accredited private certifier after they inspect. Our job is to leave nothing on their list.

Pool Fencing Questions, Answered
At least 1.2 metres, measured from the finished ground level outside the barrier. If a boundary fence forms part of the pool barrier it has to be 1.8 metres measured from inside the pool area, and the gap under any part of the fence can’t exceed 100mm.
A 900mm zone outside the barrier that has to stay clear of anything a child could climb: pot plants, BBQs, outdoor furniture, ladders, toys, shrubs and trees. It’s the most common reason an otherwise sound fence fails an inspection.
Yes, and gates fail more often than fences. A pool gate has to open outwards away from the pool, self-close and self-latch from any open position, and have its latch release at least 1.5 metres above ground level.
You need one to sell or lease a property with a pool or spa, and the pool has to be listed on the NSW Swimming Pool Register first. A certificate of compliance is valid for three years. If you buy a property with a certificate of non-compliance attached to the contract, you have 90 days from settlement to get it compliant.
Glass for the view, aluminium for the budget and the long runs. Both meet the standard when they’re installed properly.
